Red Dwarf Lion Fish (Dendrochirus Brachypterus)

Watch out! Those top spines are no joke – they pack a venomous punch that feels like a super nasty bee sting! But don't worry, Lionfish are coral-friendly critters, although they're not so friendly with other fish and most crustaceans; if it fits in their mouth, it's dinner time! Starting out, these underwater lions might demand some live shrimp, saltwater Mollies, or other swimmies for snacks. But give it time, and they'll happily chow down on frozen krill, bits of silverside, and other chunky ocean delicacies. Oh, and they grow up to about 7 inches, so make sure they've got room to strut their stuff!
