Euphyllia

Euphyllias are some of the most beloved corals in the hobby thanks to their long, swaying tentacles and neon colors. Whether you're a fan of the dramatic torch coral, the bubbly frogspawn, or the unique hammer coral, they all bring a sense of motion and life to your tank. They enjoy medium light and gentle, random flow—too much can cause their delicate tissue to tear. While they’re mostly photosynthetic, they’ll reward you with faster growth and better coloration if you feed them occasionally. Just keep them a few inches away from other corals—their sweeper tentacles can reach out and sting.
