Wellso & Trachy

Wellso and Trachy corals, often called “open brain corals,” are soft, billowy, and absolutely beautiful. Their tissue expands like a balloon under the right conditions, and their colors pop under blue reef lighting. They’re great for hobbyists who want something flashy but not fussy. These corals do best sitting on the sand in a low-flow area, away from any direct current. While they don’t need constant feeding, they’ll grow faster and puff up more if you offer them occasional meaty foods. Just be sure to give them some breathing room—they can extend their tentacles to ward off neighbors.
