Emperor Angelfish (Pomacanthus imperator)

A majestic addition to established saltwater aquariums. This striking species features distinctive blue and yellow striped patterns that intensify with maturity. Juveniles are hardy and curious, actively exploring their environment and foraging throughout the day. They thrive in tanks of 70 gallons or larger with plenty of rockwork and coral for shelter. Feed a varied diet of high-quality pellets, frozen foods, and occasional vegetable matter. Generally peaceful with other species, though they may show territorial behavior toward other angelfish. Their captivating appearance and interactive nature make them a rewarding choice for intermediate to experienced aquarists.
